Broadcast engineering, turned into software

Sachin Gour joined News24 in October 2007 and has spent 19 years since then inside news control rooms — at NewsX, News Nation, Times Now, Network18, ITV Network, and India Daily Live, where he led software development as Creative Director.

The work has always sat where software meets the gallery: VizRT scenes driven by Transition Logic and Data Pool, tickers that run themselves, election nights with live counts flowing to AR sets and touch screens, and the C#, .NET, and web systems that keep a newsroom organised behind the bulletin.

Since 2024 that experience has been offered as a freelance VizRT practice — automating election AR for Sakshi TV and Hiru TV and a complete PCR and ticker system for Ada Derana. Fusion Code Studio is the name for that practice: software built by someone who has been in the room when it goes to air.
